Dean Jones sets a great example of how to be responsible sports fans

As a nation, we will all learn a thing or two about cleanliness, responsible behavior and environmental consciousness from Karachi Kings Coach Dean Jones.

In a video that has been shared widely on social media, the Aussie sportsman might be seen cleaning up after the Friday match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi match.

After everybody else had departed, Jones hung back to wash up the litter in his team’s dugout post the match.

In the video, Jones, who is himself a former Australian cricketer, is often seen learning water bottles and packets of crisps and depositing them during a nearby bin. The video also shows other crew members from the team helping Jones.

The act was instantly celebrated around the country as a reminder of what good behavior should be for fans watching the match.

Fans took to Twitter in droves to precise their gratitude to Jones and thank him for setting an excellent example.

Many believe it should set an example for fans, who should follow in his footsteps and pack up after themselves before they leave the stadium.

Here’s how social media reacted to Jones.
This is not the primary time cleanliness and environmental consciousness has made a mark within the sporting world.

Earlier, during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Japanese fans were hailed globally after they were seen cleaning up the stadium after the match between Japan and Colombia.
